local area which  is stunning. The house is really comfortable with everything we

needed if not present was  promptly supplied by the owners. The two lounges

worked well for us as four adults and three children aged 10,11 and 12, so we could all do our own thing and plenty of space when

we wanted to get together.  Loved the log burner. Hope to return."

"A lovely home from home, the children (21, 17, 14, 12) were very impressed with the house as we were - especially the wifi. One of the most luxurious/comfortable houses we have stayed in over the last 20 years in Pembrokeshire. Owners very friendly enjoyed having the children over for a game on the Wii. Ideal base for all of the county and an excellent house for the dogs too. Many thanks we will be back."

"We have had a great family holiday over 3 generations and a chocolate lab (Milly). The house has felt very spacious and homely for a large family 8/9 people. Our hosts Shaun and Mandy and their children have been very welcoming (Charlie and Coco are adorable). The location is fantastic - views are stunning, ample walks and activities for all ages. Highlights were- as a family we enjoyed white water kayaking "adventure beyond" is a well run competent company. Boys loved go karting and girls loved painting pottery in Narberth. Stackpole Inn is a real gem! great food and atmosphere, remember to book. Barafundle bay and National Trust Stackpole have not only been stunning but also riddled with history. Thank you so much for a lovely week we will be returning ."

"For 6 of us (mum/dad, 2 boys - 6 & 9 and grandparents) the accommodation was perfect - everyone had their own bedroom and we could all eat together in the large farmhouse. Shaun & Amanda gave us a warm welcome and had obviously gone to a lot of trouble to make everything spotless, well equipped and comfortable. The beds in particular were super comfy and the whole house was warm - even without use of the wood stove. Don't be put off by the tank range, it was tolerable and didn't go on too late. The 2 boys were very impressed with real tanks and live shooting nearly on their doorstep! The Golden Plover was a delightful holiday home!"

We have had the most wonderful week. The Golden Plover has been such luxury. Even though there were 4 adults and 5 children we have had ample space, such a treat to be able to choose which lounge to watch TV in each evening. The house is perfect for 'Hide and Seek' which the kids spent ages playing. Shaun and Amanda could not have been more welcoming and really made us feel at home. The local area is so beautiful and we have been so lucky with the weather so have spent everyday exploring the many local beaches. Angle beach is fantastic as is Saundersfoot which is 30 minutes drive away. Thank you so much and we will be back soon! xx

"Having Been to Pembroke many times this Cottage has to be at the top of the list for the best Holiday cottage rental in the area. A perfect holiday base whether your into walking, cycling, surfing or just wanting to get away from the rat race and sit on one of the many lovely beaches in the area. This Cottage has been restored and maintained at a very high standard and has everything you will need for your stay, it's very pet friendly with a large enclosed garden with stunning views of South Pembroke."

Beautiful cottage set in the most wondeful setting in the Welsh countryside. Mandy & Shaun are so welcoming and their house is absolutely gorgeous. Shaun is a talented artist and his art can be found throughout the house. He was working on a gallery for his art next door when we stayed, which I'm sure will be worth a visit. You will love staying here, it has lovely coastal walks and tearooms to visit nearby, historical buildings and its a great base for cycling around the countryside.
